So NBA2K13 cover was finally revealed. Well the clues are pretty much about it, im not surprised, Durant, Rose, oh wait Blake Griffin? Why is he in there? All three are future legend they say but I think its a little bit early for him to be in it, next year maybe? I mean if this is an arcade type game for sure he should be in it by himself. With his unbelievable, out of this world video game arcade type dunks only he can pull off no doubt it should be him. But for a sport simulation game, where realism is the ultimate goal, i don't think he is there yet. Let's take a look at the the company he is in, Durant, 3 time scoring leader, conference champion, NBA finals, he deserves this. And Rose, regular season league MVP, conference final, team best record in the regular season, he should be there. Its one thing when you can play great but to be on the same class as the other two guys on a cover is another thing. NBA2K is not for the regular fans. Gamers who play this game takes pride on the fact that they are also real NBA fans. They want the experience of the reality in the league. They want to feel exactly the real life NBA, and over the years 2K continues to improve on that. I don't need an explanation for this, I am still getting this game even if World Peace is on the cover, which I think he should be. I'm getting this for the excitement it gives me all year. I don't hate Griffin, he is a future hall of famer, I love how exciting he plays and he should be in a cover. But again, I'm talking about the company he is in. Take a look at the cover last year, that trio in there was what you can say on the same platform, same level, same class, or maybe MJ is a bit higher on the number of rings he has. But in terms of what they have achieved and contributed to the game I think they are all the same. Well, it is what it is, let's move on, I'm just hoping 2K will give us each individual cover athlete on the final release so we can choose which one we will take, like what they did last year.
